What I Know Now: Building A Future Across Difference
Race. Gender. Sexuality. (Dis)ability. Age. Education level. Socio-economic status. With all of our differences, how do we build the future we want, together?
After eight years speaking and writing on these topics, and creating spaces for marginalized people to raise their voices and be heard by millions, I ask myself: what do I know now that I didn’t know when I started? What have I learned about oppression and revolution, about trust and community-building, about speaking up and sitting down, about solidarity, about rage? The answer: A LOT.
Join me this fall, all across the Northeast, in conversation about our future and how we build together—across difference, with vulnerability and accountability—toward a more just world.
